Pollen is a huge annoyance to us each Spring. It drives our allergies crazy and just covers everything outside. One thing in particular is your vehicle. If you are like me, I hate seeing that yellow dust on the hood of my car everyday. It is definitely a good idea to wash it off, but not only for cosmetic reasons. The acidity level found in pollen is high and could cause early oxidation to your paint.
An easy way to clean pollen off your vehicle is to first:
- Spray the top of it with a hose. You want to make sure you are working from top to bottom.
Next, once the pollen is all gone:
- Put some detailing spray on your vehicle and then wipe it off with a microfiber cloth. Using the detailing spray will make your vehicle have a gloss on it and deter the pollen from sticking.
